Plastic should be banned
Plastic should be banned
A product created by human with synthetic organic polymer is
plastic. Plastic is a part of human living. It has attached deeply with the
daily use of life activities. It’s use is everywhere in the world in almost
every field of life. Plastic has a variety of forms used in variety of
activities whether industrial, farming, commercial markets, packaging, for
carrying of articles, and various products for direct use of people and for
currency printing. The use of plastic is in a very wide field everywhere. we
can say that plastic is a basic useful product of human activity. Without plastic
it seems how industries using plastic for packaging would survive without its
manufacturing. It would be difficult for production houses go smoothly without
thinking of plastic use for their products packaging. Not only in packaging,
plastic is a big part in manufacturing business of various articles life toys,
vehicles parts, engineering buildups, kitchen instruments, tools, furniture,
decorative ornaments, and various thousands of products which are used in
nearby every field of professional and unprofessional usage of life. Plastic business in itself is a big scale
profitable business which will last for long. Products of daily need like milk, biscuits,
toothpaste, toothbrush, kitchen use products, vegetables, clothes, shoes,
cosmetics, shampoos, deodorants, perfumes, toys, food products and many things
more, are packed in or made of plastic. Plastic seems to be much safe and
nutrients preserving for long.
What is plastic? Any synthetic or semisynthetic organic
polymer is plastic. Most industrial products are made from petrochemicals. Plastic
is the most durable industrial product which lasts for long. The products
packed in plastics get durability assurance for long. The preservation of food
products in plastic are for safety and long time. In the mid of 1800’s , humans
started creating synthetic polymers or artificial polymers. Synthetic polymers
have plastic properties. The use of
other materials like metals, stones, bones, horns, fangs were not easy to
obtain and easy to process. Therefore, scientists were searching for
alternative materials that could be lightweight, strong, durable,
mass-produced, inexpensive, easily approachable, not entirely dependent on
natural resources. When synthetic polymers, later known as plastics, discovered
and developed, the plastic revolution broke in the industrial world.
The benefits of plastic are many and its use is in abundance
in the world. The maximum use of plastic has grown a danger of natural
disbalance in the nature. The plastic once used is thrown in the garbage and in
the river or sea as used by people after using food and consuming products. The
plastic as it is long lasting and synthetic, it doesn’t dissolve in water and
its constant capacity makes it non diminishing for a very long period of time,
even for ever. This quality proves most dangerous for nature. The single used
plastics are thrown in the garbage and eaten by stray animals and cattles
searching for food. People sometimes throw left food in plastic polythenes
which animals are not able to open and being hungry they eat with the polythenes.
Such plastics in their stomach become cause of their death. They also whine
with severe pain and after treatment by NGO’s doctors, huge amount of
polythenes are found inside their stomach. This is a critical situation for the
stray creatures who depend on thrown foods.
Same is with the aquatic life. people also throw litter made of plastic
like snacks rappers, cold drink cans, water bottles etc. in the rivers which
mixes up with water and aquatic life suffers a lot.
