Roads are the medium of movement of vehicles from one place to another to ease the life workings and responsibilities. Roads have created life easy and vehicles can run on them making life of people comfortable and time shortening. Roads are important in human life as they are the source of dependence of vehicles manufacturing companies. Without roads the movement of life would be misbalancing and time consuming. The modern life has been so depended on roads that if somewhere there is absence of road, the people living in that region remain disconnected to the fast moving progresses of life. Roads have made the connectivity of far remote areas to the developed regions. The various professions for amenities of life are easily conducted due to availability of roads. Roads are the source of living a fast pace life which is essential in today’s modern world. The modern world is fast and advance because of the roads developments. Roads are a necessary portion of humans life necessities.

Because of increasing traffic and dependence of human life on vehicles, there are many safety rules made by the administration and governments which are to be followed for safe and secure travelling. Humans of every nature ride and drive vehicles as can be said that some drive keeping in mind the safety of others and self and some do rash driving which seems to be indiscipline and unsafe for others too. Roads are meant for easy transportation of vehicles not for rash or disturbing driving. There are rules for driving on roads which should be abide by those who are going on roads. Whether the person is driving, cycling, crossing the road, there are various rules to be understood and followed. The safety is in own hands. Rules are for safety, they should be followed by all. Still, even having knowledge of road safety, there are some rash drivers or law breakers who create disturbances to self and others on roads. For example there are rules of wearing helmet while riding a two wheeler, tying seat belt while driving a four wheeler but still many riders and drivers go against road rules and suffer in some untoward situation.

Government, NGO’s are performing their tasks of spreading awareness among the people everywhere through advertisements, social media, live public programs etc. the awareness and implement of strict laws have played a vital role in the safety and security drive on roads. Schools also teach road rules to little kids so that they learn road rules early. The disciplined and aware people are regular abiding by the laws. The careless ones are still freaky. Roads are meant for movement of vehicles but safety must be the priority. The importance of promotion programs of safety on roads is conducted by various social groups and independent individuals.  People who do not abide by the laws and rules are punished with heavy penalties. It should be understood by everyone that road safety is necessary and it can be possible by awareness and applying safety rules. If we are aware then we can teach our young generation for safety.
