Apart from a school formal education, vocational training programmes are conducted by government through various training institutes favourable for those who are high school or senior school passed candidates require some specific skills or training. Those candidates who are not sure would attend school search for some specific training programmes which are very beneficial for further jobs or independent professionalism. Many kinds of vocational training programmes are conducted formerly known are:- medical lab technician, tour guide, welding, soft toy making, carpenter training, mehndi, cooking and baking courses, beautician and make-up artist, horticulture and cut flower courses, bike and car mechanic courses, home appliances repairing(refrigerator, air condition, washing machine, air cooler), sewing and stitching, pottery making, plumbing and electrical training, TV, mobile and laptop repair, jewelry designing, sericulture (silk worm farming) and many more. These vocational training programmes are short term courses which in a short time enable the learned candidate to join some job or stable in an independent profession. Being nowhere, after skill training, the candidates migrate with some hope of bright improving life.

Vocational training programmes are outside the formal education ensuring practical education needed in a professional life. According to choice and interest, they opt for any programme  and all help and training surround them to ease them in learning in the training sessions. All technical instruments, tools required for training are provided by governmental organizations. These training programmes run in villages and remote areas other than in cities and towns. benefits of vocational training are:-

The school board central board of secondary education offers vocational training programmes for the upper primary to secondary and senior classes.

At school level, these programmes are too much considered by the guardians of the students and they involve in the choosing of programme with the students. Their interest is calculated by parents too. These programmes are operated for the skill development of candidates for the modern world’s expanding requirements. These training programmes are helpful to learn something apart from formal education which enhance the capacity of mind to think and learn professionally.
